Michelle,

If you are using the Tab Key as your entry key, Return will save a record.
If you are using the Return key as your entry key, Shift + Return will save a
record.

I just started using GP and the fact that Ctrl-S didn't save was driving me nuts. I never would have thought to use just plain "Enter." :)
