Hello,

I just upgraded a client from GP 10 to GP2010 and integration Manager 11.

Integration Manager was working fine under GP 10 but under GP 2010 I receive
the following error message:

The destination could not be initialized due to the following problem: -
Cannot create ActiveX component.

Does anyone know what this could be? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

THank you

Have you tried to reinstall the Integration Manager? Looks like a matter of
registration for IM DLL's.

I am receiving the same error. The integration was working fine in GP 10,
however after upgrading to GP 2010 i am receiving the same error.

I have tried to reinstall integration manager, uninstalled integration
manger and removed registry keys and reinstalled.

Is there a active X dll that I can manually register?

I had the same problem and I found this to be due to a missing key in the
registry.

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{6D016639-BA35-11CF-827E-00001B27AB13}

To resolve the problem you can either re-register the Dynamics.exe or
unistall Dynamics GP and then reinstall. This created the required key and
then I was able to successfully run the integration.

Hope this helps.

I think I figured out what CAUSES this to happen. When you upgrade GP on a server, you generally install the new version and then uninstall the old one. During uninstallation, I believe it is unregistering the dynamics.exe program.
